Paul is responsible for overseeing daily operations at Intrepid Studios. With an extensive background in production and post, Paul can facilitate any need and is there to make sure you have a great experience in the studio.

Paul has Senior Producer credit on over 300 broadcast commercials worldwide and Visual Effects Producer credit on six feature films. He’s led teams ranging from 15 to 300 personnel, and has extensive experience across all aspects of the pre-production, post-production and visual effects workflows. He’s held operations and production managerial positions at Corduroy Media, Pixomondo, Eddie Bauer, Reliance Media, The Orphanage, DreamWorks Animation, Industrial Light & Magic Commercials, and Digital Domain. Paul holds a BS in Cinema and Television Production at San Diego State University.



Chris Gonzalez, Camera Department Manager, Post Production Coordinator

When art meets technology, you need people like Chris. Equally comfortable on set and in the edit bay, Chris has a deep understanding of camera technology, editorial and RAW workflows, post-production file management and archive, color grading and mastering. He works on set as a Cinematographer as well as Assistant Camera/DIT and supports projects through post as assistant editor, editor and colorist. He also manages our post-production infrastructure and digital cinema camera department. No matter what he’s up to, Chris brings a positive attitude and warmth to every Intrepid experience.

Prior to joining Intrepid Studios, Chris was a Camera Operator/Editor at Studio B Films. He graduated from Euela de Imagen y Sonido de Lugo Fundacion TIC in Spain with a degree in cinematography and film/video production.

Sam is one of the new breed of filmmakers—working nimbly to create stories as a shooter, editor and After Effects artist. Before joining Intrepid Studios, Sam was a freelance cinematographer and editor working on a broad range of projects from start ups to large-scale corporate productions. Sam loves being on set and in the edit room, and enjoys the challenge of taking on whatever comes his way. He started taking filmmaking seriously when he entered high school and taught himself everything he needed to know to make creative and beautiful content. Sam is a delight to work with, and always brings fresh ideas and a can-do attitude to every project—a self-taught filmmaker with a bold intrepid spirit.
